A directory built on trust, real community, and the fundamental belief that you don’t need fixing – you just need the right support

Why we built
The Wellbeing Directory

The Wellbeing Directory began with a community.

In 2024, after thirty years as a psychotherapist and coach, Helen Ranson founded The Busy Women Club – a free, safe space for honest conversations about the things that affect us all; sleep, anxiety, menopause, burnout, and learning to actually look after ourselves. It grew fast – to more than 17,000 members across the UK and Ireland.

As those conversations deepened, the same two problems kept surfacing. People couldn’t find wellbeing professionals they trusted. And brilliant practitioners couldn’t get seen.

The directory was built to bring both sides together – a trusted space where people find genuine, qualified support, and where practitioners become visible to a community that’s actively looking for them.

What makes us different

Anyone can call themselves a wellbeing professional. We think you deserve more than a search engine and a leap of faith.

Every practitioner listed on our website is someone we’d happily point a friend towards – real, qualified people doing meaningful work. No hard sells, no miracle cures, no one promising to fix you overnight. Just honest support from people who care about doing it well, and a community built on collaboration rather than competition.
